I chose this college based on my percentile of 77 in MHT-CET in the second round of CAP. The admission process didn't include any interviews or written tests. A good amount of Documents had to be submitted and our originals were also taken. The originals are to be given at the end of our graduation. The admission process was smooth though.
I chose my course because this was the best option I had after analysing all the courses I could get at other colleges. College faculty have the required qualifications for teaching. However, they need to upgrade their knowledge to some extent to make sure the students learn the things to are beneficial at the industry level. I would like it if they took things seriously and taught students with all their expertise. Most of the studies have to be done by the students themselves to grasp the concept properly. I The exams are conducted timely and the difficulty level varies but is according to the MU syllabus. Pretty satisfactory I would say. The college provides required schemes for students to reduce their f and is pretty reliable.
The college provides internships by Eduskills. We need to choose a certain domain such as data science, cybersecurity, infra designing etc. The possibility of getting a proper offline internship through college is less. You need to find it by yourself. Virtual internships are provided but they do not provide students, with proper industry-level training and opportunities.
The college does have placements. I don't have much idea about the placements but according to the seniors, the average package ranges from 2LPA to 4-5LPA. There are many startups which are coming to our college to recruit.
There are fests such as reflexion which is mostly conducted in April. Other technical fests such as Detroix are present. Some books are available in the library according to the MU syllabus. Our sports event, Xavions takes place every year and is pretty good. But the college does not provide any sports equipment and the play area is not huge but satisfactory. I am not sure if these clubs are run by students or the college but our college has clubs like NSS, Ecell, Rotaract etc. There is no hostel provision by the college. The canteen food is average and can be improved. The menu is pretty vast but the surety of getting all items is less. Also, I am in the editorial domain of NSS but we aren't provided any musical instruments or props for our skits. I would like it if the college funded us for that so that we can give our best.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
