I had heard the name of this college from my friends and was curious about the same. So to know more about the college I visited it with my parents. I was impressed by the way the faculty explained about the college and the various courses available which made it easy for us and gave me a clear idea about opportunities available. I got my admission to this college through the cap rounds. Also, the packages backed by the previous pass-out students impressed me a lot and gave me good vibes about the college.
I researched a lot about the scopes and the advancement in each field and the I.T. field grabbed my attention. So to learn more about it I chose this field. The faculty are well qualified and their way of teaching is also very good. The college follows the curriculum provided by the University of Mumbai. So the exam takes place according to the timetable provided by the university. The cost to study is reasonable and the fee hike is also low.
Many events take place in the college including seminars, various club events like tree plantation, fun events for students etc. The recent event that took place was Reflexion which took place in March. The library is filled with all the books related to the curriculum which help with the studies. All the classrooms are clean, well well-ventilated. Sports and other extracurricular activities are also promoted and supported by the college like cricket, volleyball etc. There are many clubs like NSS, Rotaract club etc. which help the students in their personal skill development.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
