Shah And Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College [SAKEC] Mumbai was established in 1985 by Mahavir Education Trust. The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. It is approved by the AICTE and recognized by the UGC. It is accredited by the NAAC with an A grade. According to the TOI 2024, the college ranks #45 out of 125 under the ‘Engineering’ category. It offers B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD, and B.Tech (Vocational).

SAKEC Mumbai offers admission to the B.Tech as its flagship program. The fee for B.Tech is INR 6.06 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidates must have passed 10+2 in the science stream with a minimum of 45% marks (5% marks relaxation for reserved category candidates) from a recognized board. The selection criteria for admission is based on the GATE scores.

SAKEC Mumbai Placement 2025 has started. According to the Placement 2025 report, the highest package offered is INR 10 LPA and the average package is INR 7.71 LPA till date. The top recruiting companies were Flipkart, Accenture, TCS, Nvision, Netcore, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc.
