Engineering is a field where innovations in technologies mean that the currency and connection between engineering curriculum and the technology used in industry needs constant attention. So I decided to take admission in sakec. YES, to get admission in this college you need to give entrance exams like JEE mains/MHT-CET with good score (90 percentile+) for getting into main branch like comps or it.
College Have a effecient course curriculum and helpful faculty to get you through this entire journey of engineering. Best part is that sakec also have a free theoripest which i think is must needed for students who are pursuing engineering. They will assign you to a personal mentor who will be with you throughout the 4 years of engineering.
I haven't done any internship yet but the have various clubs which you must participate in. like TBI(business technology incubator) and E-cell(entrepenure cell)in which every student must participate. They help for startup ideas and motivates us and helps us find investors for startup ideas.
sakec have great opportunities of jobs and placements, training session is provided during the 4th year of college. Sakec have a internship program which not only helps passouts in gaining professional knowledge but also benefit corporates on presprictive.
Shah and anchor college have scholarships options for all students. The education is free for female candidates. The staff members are really helpful. They'll help you out with all the scholarship related doubts. mostly the scholarship form needs to be filled at the start of the year(1st,2nd,3rd and 4th). The branch topper and the overall topper gets the fees back.
Even though the campus is too small, the college life is not that boring if you are making better participation in events and in extra curricular activities. Every year an annual fest 'PRATHISHTA' (sake's annual symposium) which can never be forgeted.
SAKEC don't have hostel or pg facility. You need to find a place by yourself. That is one of the disadvantage, ig you don't stay in Mumbai then you'll have to spend more money on paying guest or hostel or flat on rent for accomodation and find own food serivices or a mess as per your convinence.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
