I'm a gujarati student. So that did affect my college Selection and my admission as well. As SAKEC is gujrati minority college, It was easier to get into it. Admissions are primarily based on performance in engineering entrance exams like:MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) and JEE Main (Joint Entrance Exam). For Computer Engineering, the cut-off is usually higher (85-95 percentile in MHT-CET or an AIR < 1,00,000 in JEE Main).
I chose this course because i had an interest in engineering and honestly i was told it'll be good money later on. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees like M.Tech or Ph.D. in their respective fields. Several professors have significant industry experience, which adds value to their teaching. The lectures are Interactive and has a practical approach to them. We have one midsem and one endsems and there is Continuous assessments taken in lectures.
There are many internships that are offered in our college but because of the competition i haven't got one yet. There are many companies that offer internships like Connectwise, Vector consulting, Tcs, etc. The stipend for Connectwise was 25000pm and it was for a software engineer intern role

There is close to no campus. There is one fest every year and it's average. It's a perfect balance of fun events, technical events and party events. There are many clubs in our college. The sports wnd extracurricular activities arr average. The library is actually the one thing that is good in our college. It has AC and many books and has enough seating.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
