Campus placement opportunities are good, it mostly depends on the year in which students get placed. Mostly the placement coordinator work as much as they can to call the companies in their campus apart from this placement opportunities from central placement is also available for the students.

So most of the students are focused on gate exam for jobs in psu or masters in iits, for now placement scenario is not good about 30% are placed but most of the students get good rank in gate exam and pursue masters or psu, eligibility is nothing specific but if you keep cgpa 7.5-8 it would be great there are many rounds for jobs, highest this year is 9lpa and average is 4lpa companies such as mitsui chemicals, financing companies, it companies etc visit our department. My plan is doing masters from Japan and the work for psu or research based companies

The placement here are not very good. Only 40% people get placed. The placement cell is managed by only one single teacher, which is not ideal. Highest package is of 9lakh per annum. Average is 4lakh per annum. Frequently visited company is asianpaints. Most people here go for M. tech and apply for GATE exam.
