So first this is a government college near my house providing chemical engineering as a course after iit d and dtu so I wanted to purse chemical engineering so I choose this college because of my known has done chemical engineering from usct itself and he told me it is worth. For admission in usct you have to give jee mains and participate in ggsipu counseling process. Cut off vary year to year but safe score would be Somewere around 80%ile
So if someone who is willing to research, do jobs in field such as mining, oil and gas, process engineer, quality control engineer etc. Or do startup by setting up a factory so they should choose chemical engineering as its a field I believe for human wellness it keep on doing research for improving human life. I choose chemical engineering because I want to research in the field of material science and want to purse master in it, so in usct professors and too good and have excellent education background and research topics. If you want to pursue masters so come here and be under the roof of professor of that particular. For 1st year guest faculty are there from this year onwards subject like electrical science and physics have permanent professor teaching some are too good and some are just doing time pass, there are two mid term in 1st year 1 in 1st sem and 2 in 2nd sem exams are conducted timely no issue in it.
I am a freshman so no internship yet, but it is compulsory to do internship in 3rd year in chemical engineering based field companies most of it are funded, you can do either research based internship or chemical engineering based field internship. But it is mandatory here at least
So most of the students are focused on gate exam for jobs in psu or masters in iits, for now placement scenario is not good about 30% are placed but most of the students get good rank in gate exam and pursue masters or psu, eligibility is nothing specific but if you keep cgpa 7.5-8 it would be great there are many rounds for jobs, highest this year is 9lpa and average is 4lpa companies such as mitsui chemicals, financing companies, it companies etc visit our department. My plan is doing masters from Japan and the work for psu or research based companies
So from 2024 onwards for usct fees has been increased and is being increased by some amount per year ( above mentioned fees is total 4 year B. Tech program fees) For 1st year it's 175500 For 2nd year 187500 For 3rd year 202900 For 4th year 219840 Total fees 785740 So for caution fees during counseling we have paid?96000 For scholarship you have a ration card then you can get easily many scholarships like mcm which provide by the Delhi government and Ews scholarship is also available, and from this year I suppose iiche has announced 15 scholarship out of which 3 are preferably for girls and 1 for differently abled, the scholarship is been awarded to student in 2nd/3rd/4th/5th year onwards with parents income less than 4 lacs and 30000 will be awarded to them
There are departmental fest like in chemical department it's chemchord and for university it's anugoonj held in month of February for whole ipu. So considering my position in as a 1st sem student I still have not got my library card and I'd card so it's difficult me to borrow books from library and sports gear from dsw ( Directorate of student welfare which provides students sports gear) but if I see from prospective it's pretty smooth here there are many international national journal, different types of books on same topic and variety of books to study, inside library we have e resources lab where computer are placed for online studies. Sports faculties are good but we have only one badminton court so it's make a difficult a lot of time but now they are building a indoor stadium for sports so it will be great then. There are many technical, nin technical clubs here such as ieee, acm, tech space, harita nature club etc
Actually like I said I am a day scholar, so I heard from my friends first my Indian friends the food is served 4 times timings I don't know exactly but in morning till 8 30 am afternoon till 1 30pm snacks till 5 pm dinner till 9 30 pm so both international and national student are satisfied with the food quality.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
