- The infrastructure is really good, campus is big.
- Sports has been given good priority, you can find so many sports to participate in here.
Dislikes
- The placement is not really good, the new dean is very strict, we didn't have our official freshers.
- The exam timings are not taken care of, teachers come at whatever time, start the exam not on time.
Remarks :
There was no personal interview or anything. I got admission on the basis of JEE result and rank. Tho it used to take b. Tech admission on the basis of CET exam, it doesn't do it anymore. A rank of even 7 lakh can get admission in usct. I got admitted in the 3rd round of ggsipu counseling, my rank was around 2.9 lakh. The counselling session is online and rather simple but very slow, as compared to other university counsellings.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of chemical technology is something not very heard of, cause finding job in here is difficult as compared to famous courses these days like cse. I chose this course because I wanted to go not with the crowd. Exams here are held just as usual, mid semester exams and end semester exams. Difficulty level is medium, studying a week before can get you passing marks. Faculty here is quite experienced and well known in their own respective fields. Each teacher has like 3 phd assistants with them, making it even more professional.
Placement Experience :
The placement here are not very good. Only 40% people get placed. The placement cell is managed by only one single teacher, which is not ideal. Highest package is of 9lakh per annum. Average is 4lakh per annum. Frequently visited company is asianpaints. Most people here go for M. tech and apply for GATE exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Each year has different fees. The structure remains the same tho, only tution fee increases every year. For first year tution fee is 140000, university charges is 20000, alumni contribution fund(one time payment) is 2000, examination fee is 3000,innovation and incubation fee is 500, development charges is 10000. Which adds upto ?175500 for the first yr. For second year tution fee is 154000 , adds to make 2nd yr fees to be ?187500. For third year tution fee is 169400 which makes total ?202900. For the fourth and final year fee is ?219840. The total for 4yrs comes out to be around 8lakh. EWS catagory does have to pay less fees.
Campus Life :
Campus life is just fine. There are mang hangout spots that students love here. Campus is quite big, making it nice for a walk or fun time with friends. Dwarka sector 14 is the nearest metro, making it easy for transportation. The campus different eating spots. College Canteen is the most affordable place. About fests- Only one fest happens in the whole year, it's called "Anugoonj" Happens on a quite big standard. Many people come here. From DTU and NSUT too.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but many of my classmates have. They say the rooms are fine. They're single person rooms. But the mess food is not very nice to have. They get nonveg once every week, food like pulses are very diluted and not upto standards.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
