I chose this college because I got recommendations from some of my seniors and the passing percentage is very high which gets my attention to this college. The admission process is very easy students can directly contact to the office members to get admission to this college.

As a thing the name itself DAV made me bound to join the institute as I have been a DAV Student in the past. Before admission, some GD-PI sessions were conducted by the college faculties for a better understanding of the students.

The reason for choosing this college was the distance between the college and my house was less comparatively to other colleges and the college has a strict campus. Yes interview was conducted by the administration for admission

I wanted to pursue graduation in a private college but the colleges in my city were either expensive or have not so good surroundings and DSBM provides a surrounding which feels safe and schooling in nature. No, I didn't have any interviews or group discussions because, for the B.Com curriculum, you go under the procedure under a portal which is associated with Utkal University whereas to have BBA here one needs to clear the group discussions and interview which is under the college itself.

This is a very good disciplined college with a small peer group which helps teachers to focus on every student. The campus isn't that big but is good enough to be called a good college. The faculty is good in our college and they teach very well. The subjects are good in our semester except for few which I feel are of little to no use. Oppertunities to express oneself is very much present here. There are different clubs in which students can get involved and express themselves more. There are 5 clubs literary, IT, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Quiz club. Yearly once a flagship event is organised here called as genesis where 4 events/ competition takes place simultaneously. It helps students to have an enriching experience. College provides internship to students in various companies. Most of them are unpaid but they help in getting enriching experience. The college has been working hard to get students place in good companies. Overall it's a good enough college for the fees one pays.
