- The canteen space there is not good, the food is good but there no chairs and fans. You have to stand and eat in shed they made.
- The campus is too small to make you feel like college. You'll feel like you going to school again.
Remarks :
I wanted to pursue graduation in a private college but the colleges in my city were either expensive or have not so good surroundings and DSBM provides a surrounding which feels safe and schooling in nature. No, I didn't have any interviews or group discussions because, for the B.Com curriculum, you go under the procedure under a portal which is associated with Utkal University whereas to have BBA here one needs to clear the group discussions and interview which is under the college itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course cause I didn't want to pursue a BBA whereas my goal is to have an MBA. Qualifications of the faculties were on top and they make every child active in the classes and session, very cooperative, a good listener and they'll not only help you out in the college campus Life but also outside things bothering you. During exams, they provide practice questions with additional notes through presentations and exams feel less pressured with them aside. The cost of the courses is pretty much affordable. They don't have any scholarships or financial services but they do provide brainstorming sessions webinars and seminars.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I've not opted for any internship program as I am in my sophomore year. But I am pretty sure college will provide me with a better first experience. I don't have a brief idea on this but I know college provides internships for the students sometimes it gets a stipend and sometimes it doesn't.
Placement Experience :
We get government internship programs from colleges and jobs too from firms like Kotak bank, Motilal Oswal company, ICICI Bank, and The De Shaw Group. The highest package was 28lakh but the average is 3-4lakn p.a. 30% cause almost everyone chooses to pursue an MBA or anything else rather than having a job.
Campus Life :
We don't have many fests here but we have activities and comp every Saturday held by the 4 clubs we have. There's a Libra full of books and there are sports days arranged in winter. The hostel is only for boys and it's pretty good with the rooms and food. Registration for a hostel is while you fill out the form for the hostel and it's affordable too, I don't about the hostel much. The locality near our college is safe and full of rented rooms and pgs. But the main drawback is the size of the campus is less! And do not have time to spend time with friends and have college memories while the education is at the top here.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
