What I Liked

The infrastructure itself is a big plus point for the college, compared to other govt medical colleges, esic med college is fully air conditioned with functioning lifts all over the campus
Second good thing is the accessibility, nearest metro at 50 meter distance. Airport is nearer

What I didn’t like

The freedom that students get compared to other govt colleges is a bit less
There is no proper play ground like other colleges

Placement Experience:

Mbbs is a course that never asks where did you pass out, rather its ur experience and skillset that finds you job. Exposure is definitely there without doubt. Patient load is good enough for practice and a good social life

Internships Opportunities:

College provides Internship of 1 year compulsory as per nmc rules, it’s paid , you get around 25000 per month for that internship. Although the salary gets credited a bit late. But still there is good payment

ESIC Chennai at a Jist

What I Liked

Infrastructure is the best, not present in any of the other government colleges present in Chennai. Campus life is fun too.
Events taking place in the college are usually the best times of the year , where all the batches interact and have fun.

What I didn’t like

The faculty at times are unreasonably strict, and often the students get caught in middle of the ruckus.
Mess in hostel isn’t that well established. Needs more improvement

Placement Experience:

There is nothing as placements present in medical colleges. But since it's a central government college, it sure has a good name in the surroundings. Getting a PG seat in ESIC Chennai sure does need a high cut-off.

Internships Opportunities:

An internship for one year is a part of the curriculum. But after the internship 1-year bond is present where the doctors can be allotted in any ESIC all over India and the salary range can vary from 80,000 - 1 lakh. Very good opportunity to practice and learn.
