AUSDE has not published an official placement report with exact figures. Student accounts mention an average package of INR 3.5 LPA and a highest package of INR 12 LPA, but an official AUSDE report has not confirmed either figure.

Placement assistance does not cover every AUSDE programme, and distance learners have less access to this support than on-campus students. AUSDE operates under the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE). Its work covers online teaching, study centres, curriculum and learning materials, with 25 study centres across different locations supporting students.

AUSDE Placement Support and Career Planning and Development Centre (CPDC)

Students can receive help with career choices, placements and internships through the Career Planning and Development Centre (CPDC) at AUSDE's South Campus. Its support includes mentoring, practice interviews and resume preparation. The centre also works with industry partners to arrange campus recruitment programmes.

Internships for AUSDE students commonly offer little or no pay. Many students must take the initiative to find these opportunities themselves.

Banking, finance, government services, teaching and corporate organisations are among the fields where AUSDE students have secured jobs. AUSDE degrees carry the same standing as regular university degrees and are accepted for further study and government employment. Many graduates have continued their education at prestigious institutions and established successful careers in their chosen fields.

Alongside its strong links with industry, CPDC supports career preparation in the following ways:

  • Students receive career counselling from academic coordinators.
  • In-person interaction programmes give students opportunities to build professional contacts.
  • The curriculum connects learning with industry requirements and current job-market needs.
  • Regular assessment helps students prepare for challenges they may face at work.

AUSDE Placement FAQs

Ques. Is there a placement cell specifically for AUSDE distance learners?

Ans. A formal placement cell serving only AUSDE distance-education students has not been clearly established. Several student reviews describe having to find jobs and internships independently. AUSDE students may, however, be able to join a few recruitment drives and placement events.

Ques. What recent placement figures are available for AUSDE?

Ans. AUSDE has not released an official placement report. Some students report a highest package of INR 12 LPA and an average package of INR 3.5 LPA. These amounts remain unverified by an official report published by AUSDE.

Ques. Which employers are reported to hire AUSDE students?

Ans. Student accounts name Infosys, TCS, Byju’s, Tech Mahindra and Wipro among the companies hiring AUSDE students. Distance learners often depend on individual recruitment drives and internships, so their range of recruiters may be narrower than that available through full-time campus programmes.
