Adikavi Nannaya University is a state-level government university established in the year 2006 in East and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Around 450 colleges are affiliated with the university, thus making it the largest university in Andhra Pradesh.

On the main campus, the university consists of four colleges namely – College of Arts and Commerce, College of Engineering, College of Education and College of Science & Technology. Apart from the main campus, the university has extension campuses at Kakinada (East) and Tadepalligudem (West).

The university offers only B.Tech and B.Ed. at the undergraduate level. However, at the postgraduate level, the university offers almost all courses in various specializations. Admission to various courses is completely based on the entrance exams specified by the university. Some accepted entrance exams include AP-EAMCET/AP-EdCET/NANNAYACET/CAT/MAT/XAT/ APICET.
