Aditya University Admission Dates 2026

Aditya University uses AP EAPCET for B.Tech, AP ICET for MBA and MCA, and AP PGECET or GATE for M.Tech admissions. ASAT provides a separate route to management quota seats across the programmes. APSCHE counselling is in its final rounds during October 2026.

Aditya University Courses and Fees

More than 30 programmes are offered across engineering, pharmacy, management, science and diploma studies. B.Tech is the main undergraduate programme, with 13 branches. The following amounts are total programme fees under the 2026-27 schedule.

Civil, EEE, Mechanical, Agricultural, Mining and Petroleum Engineering form the lowest-priced B.Tech group at INR 4.15 Lakhs. Fees for all six M.Tech specialisations fall between INR 1.65 Lakhs and INR 2.50 Lakhs. For students entering after Class 10, the complete diploma programme costs INR 75,000.

Aditya University Admission Process

Admissions follow two routes. APSCHE web counselling fills 70% of the state-quota seats according to entrance exam ranks, while the university fills the remaining 30% management quota through the Aditya Scholastic Aptitude Test. Each ASAT attempt costs INR 500, and a student may take the test no more than twice in one admission cycle.

1. Students must meet the eligibility requirements for their chosen programme.
2. For state-quota admission, they need a valid rank or score in the entrance test accepted for that programme and must participate in APSCHE counselling.
3. Management quota applicants use ASAT, ASAT-PG or ASAT-Research, depending on the programme.
4. B.Tech seats are divided between the 70% state quota and 30% management quota.

B.Tech Admission

• State Quota, 70%: APSCHE web counselling assigns these seats using valid AP EAPCET ranks. Applicants need at least 60% in PCM at the 10+2 level.
• Management Quota, 30%: Students with at least 60% in 10+2 PCM can seek direct admission through ASAT at adityauniversity.in.

Competition in AP EAPCET is highest for CSE, AI and Machine Learning, and Data Sciences. Civil, Mechanical, Mining, Petroleum and Agricultural Engineering generally remain available at lower ranks. Diploma holders seeking B.Tech lateral entry through the state quota must use AP ECET.

MBA and MCA Admission

• MBA applicants need a graduation degree with the minimum marks set by APSCHE.
• MCA applicants must have studied Mathematics during graduation.
• State-quota seats use AP ICET and APSCHE counselling, while ASAT-PG provides direct entry to management quota seats.

M.Tech Admission

• Applicants need a B.Tech or equivalent qualification in the relevant field with at least 60%.
• Admission through APSCHE counselling accepts GATE scores or AP PGECET ranks. ASAT-PG is used for the direct route.
• Students admitted with GATE qualification receive an AICTE stipend during the full two-year programme.

Pharmacy Admission: B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D

APSCHE counselling uses AP EAMCET Pharmacy stream ranks to fill state-quota seats in B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D. Eligibility requires 60% in PCB at the 10+2 level. ASAT is the entrance route for management quota seats.

Aditya University Placements

The highest placement offer recorded by Aditya University is INR 1.06 Crore, received by M. Akhilesh and G. Rajesh. Other results include Toyota’s INR 39.60 LPA offer, several offers of INR 31.62 LPA and INR 29.87 LPA, and Amazon packages ranging from INR 18.10 LPA to INR 19.17 LPA. Recruitment covers IT, analytics and core engineering roles.

Amazon, Toyota, Accenture, Capgemini, Autodesk, Lowe’s, DMart, Quest Global, Verizon and Clove Technologies have recruited from the university. Throughout the year, the Training and Placement Cell prepares students through aptitude, communication and technical-skills training.

CSE and VLSI Design are among the M.Tech specialisations reporting strong placement results, while GATE-qualified M.Tech students also receive an AICTE stipend. Pharm.D and M.Pharm students commonly move towards GPAT, hospital residency programmes and pharmaceutical industry careers instead of standard campus recruitment drives.

Aditya University Rankings

In 2025, NIRF placed Aditya University in the 151 to 200 band among Indian universities. The Week’s engineering college survey for the same year gave it the national position of 36th. These assessments consider areas that include research output, academic results and regional standing.

Aditya University Campus and Infrastructure

Spread over 180 acres, Aditya University is located at Surampalem near Kakinada in East Godavari district. The campus houses several academic blocks, specialised laboratories, pharmacy labs, computing centres and a central library. Academically, the university is organised into the Schools of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management and Science.

Separate residential hostels are provided for men and women. Annual hostel charges range from INR 1.00 Lakh to INR 1.10 Lakhs. The university’s NAAC A++ grade covers teaching, research and governance quality, while NBA accreditation confirms the curriculum and laboratory standards of selected B.Tech programmes.

Research activity includes Ph.D enrolment in engineering, management and science subjects. The university’s location near Kakinada gives access to the industrial and petroleum activity along the East Godavari coast, an area relevant to students of Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

Aditya University vs VIT-AP vs Vignan’s University

Aditya University in Surampalem, VIT-AP in Amaravati and Vignan’s University in Vadlamudi are private deemed universities in Andhra Pradesh that students often compare. AP EAPCET is accepted across these institutions, although their locations, range of courses and academic strengths differ.

Among the three universities, Aditya University has the highest NAAC grade of A++ and the broadest programme range. It is also the only one in this comparison offering Pharm.D along with Mining Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. VIT-AP carries the VIT name and is situated in the Amaravati state-capital region, while Vignan’s University has a strong student base in the Guntur-Krishna corridor. Students from East Godavari and nearby coastal districts often place Aditya University among their preferred private institutions in the region.
