LBRCE Admission Dates 2027

The 2027-28 admission process is expected to follow the regular Andhra Pradesh entrance examination and counselling calendar. The schedule below is tentative.

LBRCE Courses and Fees

At the undergraduate level, LBRCE provides 9 B.Tech branches covering core engineering, Aerospace Engineering, IT, AI and ML, and AI and Data Science. Its postgraduate engineering options focus on fields such as robotics, cyber security, data science, power electronics, VLSI, and electric vehicle technology.

Annual hostel charges are INR 70,000 for boys and range from INR 70,000 to INR 90,000 for girls. Seven B.Tech programmes have NBA accreditation: Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.

LBRCE Admission Process

Admission at LBRCE depends on the programme. APSCHE counselling is used for B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E., and MBA seats after students qualify through the relevant entrance examination.

B.Tech Admission

APSCHE manages B.Tech seat allocation through AP EAPCET counselling. LBRCE uses college code 76. Applicants must meet these conditions:

• Pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Study Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science as the third subject.
• Secure at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
• Hold a valid AP EAPCET rank.

The admission steps are:

1. Take AP EAPCET and obtain a valid rank.
2. Register for online counselling through apsche.ap.gov.in.
3. Complete certificate verification.
4. Enter and arrange preferred college and course choices.
5. Check the allotted seat.
6. Pay the required fee.
7. Report to LBRCE.

Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning generally receive the most competitive EAPCET ranks. Closing ranks are comparatively higher for Civil Engineering and Aerospace Engineering across categories.

M.Tech and M.E. Admission

Applicants for M.Tech and M.E. join through AP PGECET counselling, while preference is given to those with a valid GATE score. They need a B.Tech or B.E. in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. The minimum is 45% for SC and ST applicants. Cyber Security, Data Science, and Electric Vehicle Technology have been especially sought after in recent admission cycles.

MBA Admission

Selection for the MBA depends on AP ICET scores. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. After registering on the APSCHE portal, they take part in online counselling and seat allotment for the MBA programme.

LBRCE Placements

The 2025-26 placement drive produced LBRCE’s best recorded result. More than 80 companies recruited 1,117 students, and the highest CTC was INR 25.5 LPA. Cognizant made 110 offers, followed by Infosys with 41, HCL Tech with 40, and TCS with 31.

For internships and placement activity in the 2025 season, LBRCE held an Internshala All India Rank of 49 among more than 600 colleges. Research guidance and student mentoring are supported by 85 faculty members with PhDs.

IT service companies account for the highest placement volume among Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology students. Graduates from Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering also enter the power, manufacturing, and automotive industries. The M.E. programme in Electric Vehicle Technology prepares students for opportunities in the expanding EV manufacturing sector.

LBRCE Rankings

LBRCE has been listed by national ranking organisations for engineering education. India Today placed it at 228 among private engineering colleges in 2025, while NIRF included it in the 201-300 Engineering band in 2024.

The college also holds a NAAC A Grade with a CGPA of 3.20, NBA Tier-I accreditation for 7 B.Tech courses, and UGC College with Potential for Excellence status. These credentials reflect its academic standing among private engineering institutions affiliated with JNTUK in Andhra Pradesh.

LBRCE Scholarships

Students at LBRCE may apply for government support as well as an institutional merit award. Eligible SC, ST, BC, EWS, and minority students can receive state assistance under the AP Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Vasathi Deevena schemes.

For qualifying students, Andhra Pradesh fee reimbursement can meet a large share of B.Tech costs. Applications must be filed through the state scholarship portal in every academic year.

LBRCE Campus and Infrastructure

The LBRCE campus is located at L.B. Reddy Nagar in Mylavaram, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. Across its 10 departments, students and faculty have access to 75 laboratories and research centres for undergraduate projects and research work.

The institution has 85 PhD-qualified faculty members. Its ISO 21001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2018 certifications relate to academic management, environmental management, and energy management. During the Jul-Dec 2024 season, the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning rated LBRCE as an A Grade institution.

Boys and girls have separate hostel facilities. The annual charge is INR 70,000 for the boys’ hostel, while the girls’ hostel costs between INR 70,000 and INR 90,000 per year. Other facilities include a digital library, cafeteria, and spaces for sports.

LBRCE vs Vignan’s Lara Institute vs RVR and JC College of Engineering

Students considering autonomous, JNTUK-affiliated private engineering colleges in the Krishna-Guntur area may compare LBRCE with Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology and Science (VLITS) and RVR and JC College of Engineering. The three colleges occupy a similar fee and institutional tier in coastal Andhra Pradesh and use AP EAPCET for B.Tech admission.

RVR and JC College of Engineering has the longest history among the three institutions in the Guntur-Krishna region. VLITS has a higher NAAC A+ Grade and maintains strong links with industry. LBRCE recorded 1,117 placement offers in 2025-26 and has NIRF recognition, giving students an option with substantial IT and core engineering recruitment in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
