PVPSIT Admission Process

Entrance scores and APSCHE centralised counselling decide admission to PVPSIT. The institute does not hold a separate entrance examination. B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech selection, the AP EAPCET rank gives 75% weight to the entrance test score and 25% weight to Class 12 board marks.

  • Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum aggregate is 45% for OC/BC candidates and 40% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
  • Process: Take AP EAPCET, download the rank card, register and pay the counselling fee on the APSCHE portal, complete certificate verification, submit web options, receive the seat allotment, report to the allotted college, verify documents, pay the first-year fee, and confirm admission.

AP EAPCET 2025 Round 3 closed at rank 5,171 for CSE under General Category, Category A. The corresponding ECE closing rank was 12,733. Because of strong student demand, the newer AI and ML and Data Sciences branches generally close within a range similar to CSE.

Students may enter the second year of B.Tech through AP ECET. This route is open to Engineering diploma holders with 45% marks and B.Sc graduates who studied Mathematics as a subject.

M.Tech and MBA Admission

Admission to M.Tech in Machine Design is based on GATE or AP PGECET scores and APSCHE counselling. Applicants need a B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

For MBA admission, students must qualify through AP ICET and participate in APSCHE counselling. A recognised undergraduate degree with at least 60% aggregate is required for OC/BC applicants, while SC/ST applicants need 55%. The annual counselling cycle for both postgraduate courses finishes alongside B.Tech counselling.
