What I Liked

The faculty the first point they are so good experienced and nice
The patient flow we get to see unique cases on regular basis

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of the college can be a bit better
The strictness for attendance they can be a bit lenient

Placement Experience:

The placements are good i have seen in all courses they constantly providing internship and placements program and the hospital internship is also a good exposure as the patient flow is good for our course we need to do neet pg but for others placements are good You can check their website and instagram handle

Internships Opportunities:

No as it has been my first year i have not done internship but i have started going to hospital posting and i see quite good cases for learning We also get payed some amount for internship in our last year

SGT Medical College honest review

Placement Experience:

Placements for the medical field are great, we usually don't have recruiters because it's very easy to find a job as a doctor after your bachelors, and you even get paid in your internship year by the college when you work at the hospital. Every student is open to working wherever they please, private or government sectors both, the salary ofcourse varies with where you work, but it's very well sufficient for a bachelors degree. Approximately 90% of students get a good job after the course, specially in the Delhi NCR region where the college is popular and very well recognised.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship for the MBBS course is compulsory for 1 year, without which your degree would be incomplete. 6 months compulsory internship in the college hospital is there, and the rest you can complete from a different hospital or continue here itself. The stipend for the internship increases every year, currently it's 11k a month. as an intern you have to do menial tasks like prepping patients, post operative care, watching surgeries etc. and you get a decent exposure in all fields of medicine.

What I Liked

Faculty is well experienced. Greenery in college
Well maintained library with hands on work available in internship

What I didn’t like

Library is not available for 24 hours basis
Less stipend given to interns during internship

Placement Experience:

One year compulsory Internship in the hospital attached to college. After that you can do job in private or government sector once you obtain a Internship Completion certificate from hospital with registration from the State medical council. Other option is preparing for post graduation. Average income is Rs. 1 lac per month. It can be as good as Rs. 1.4 lacs per month. 100 percent placement. Currently I'm preparing for post graduation

Internships Opportunities:

One year compulsory Internship in the hospital attached to the college that helps to develop skills like injections, canula, catheterization and others. Other minor OPD procedures also available. Monthly stipend is Rs. 5000

A great choice for someone looking for a private medical college in Delhi NCR

What I Liked

Faculty is good and hospital exposure is good enough for mbbs students
Nation simulation lab is the best and most interesting part about the institute

What I didn’t like

campus life can be better as since our college is located in outskirts of city so the campus can be more student friendly

Placement Experience:

For our course there is no concept as placement Once mbbs degree is done we are free to join any private or government set up Mostly students go for post graduation degree and give the NEET PG exam

Internships Opportunities:

As an mbbs student uptill 4.5 years there is no such thing as intership We are posted in different departments in the hospital which is a part of our curriculum Once we are graduated from final year we do a intership of 1 year which is a part of the curriculum in which we work in associated hospital as doctors As mbbs students we can be a part of research programms and lot of platforms provide such opportunities in our college

Keeping up in SGT

What I Liked

The thing that I like about the campus is the location, i know it's little offtrack but there's peace here. You are away from the heavy pollution of the city, also the city is not so far, the main city of Gurgaon is 30-40 minutes away but the smaller areas like sector -90 , sector 100 are merely 15-20 minutes away, you can easily go and hangout with friends or eat something there.
The second thing that I like about my college is the student body that we have here, we have the representation of students in the college and this student body is responsible for organising the medical fest Genesis which provides exposure to us. Also the celebrity night in Genesis has called artist like Guru Randhawa to perform here, so it's quite fun.

What I didn’t like

I think the college should improve the eateries here, there are not big brands like KFC , haldiram etc. here, so they should talk to these brands and open the eateries here.
The security here is somewhat annoying, you have to make a gate pass every time you have to go somewhere, there's some leniency for boys but for girls it's very strict, also the time for hostel is 10 p.m. for boys and 8:30 p.m. for girls, so I think that should be laid off.

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as placement for MBBS students in college, the MBBS student mainly joins any corporate hospital and works there, getting a job after graduation is easy, especially for MBBS students, many medical students even fill the post of Medical Officer, and earn a handsome salary, but there are many people who try to pursue post-graduation in their choice of the branch after MBBS.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is done in the hospital of the college after you have completed your MBBS degree, the internship starts after you have cleared the final year i.e. 4th Year exams. Then the internship starts in the hospital of your medical college, apart from this a person can do fellowships and join fellowship programs which can help him gain knowledge. The stipend of an intern in medical college ranges between 15000 to 30000 per month depending upon the college. In my college, the intern gets a stipend of 15000 per month.

Good college but very high fees.

What I Liked

Beautiful parks with large compound for long walks.
There is a temple inside the college compound.

What I didn’t like

The fees is very high for an average person.
The weather is very harsh with very hot summer reaching 50 ⁰C at summer and nearing 0⁰C in winter.
The collegeis situated in outskirts so no place to go out to.
Very difficult to get transportation like cabs.

Placement Experience:

The college provides opportunity for research activities which are accredited by the National Medical Counselling which is very helpful for USMLE , PLAB examinations to boost your CV if you want to go abroad.
