SGT PhD Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for admission at SGT University for PhD program, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:-

• Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree (1-year/2-semester after a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or 2-year/4-semester after a 3-year Bachelor’s degree) or an equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade.
• Qualifications from foreign institutions must be accredited by recognised authorities under the law of the respective home country.
• As per Commission guidelines, SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently Abled/EWS candidates and other categories are provided with a 5% mark relaxation or equivalent grade.
• Candidates with a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree are eligible if they have a minimum of 75% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade.
• Applicants holding an M.Phil. degree must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade.
• All eligibility criteria are subject to specific university and regulatory norms
