What I Liked

Since it a well known hospital there is a lot of patient load which will help you in learning a lot

What I didn’t like

Since the college is very old. Its infrastructure needs a lot of improvements

Placement Experience:

You are supposed to do 1-year internship as well as a bond of 1 year after your final year. Salary is decided by muhs only which is similar for all government medical colleges of Maharashtra. You'll get to learn a lot in the hospital.

Internships Opportunities:

You are supposed to do 1 year of internship in the college's hospital only. The stipend for that is currently 18000rs approx per month. After that, there is the bond of 1 year where you'll get approx 90000rs per month.

What I Liked

The faculty at the college is really good and at par with other colleges if not better
The academics is exceptional and great exposure

What I didn’t like

The campus is a bit old and has very limited facilities
The social life limits upto an extent being in a med school

Placement Experience:

Although there are no official placements as such from the college all the students are obligated to serve a one-year service to the government which would pay you an above-avera salary. Most students go for post-graduation after MBBS but one can also continue as a government doctor after the mandatory service which is also a popular option

Internships Opportunities:

There is a compulsory 1-year internship program at the college for which you'll be provided with a reasonable stipend. This internship provided you with much-needed exposure and clinical knowledge. There are two hospitals associated with the college for internship.

What I Liked

Amazing campus, the infrastructure is quite good
Next level academics, high level educated faculties

What I didn’t like

Hostel facilities are poor, seriously need improvement.
More initiatives can be taken for further development.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are quite excellent, interns and residents from our college have got placed in famous multispeciality hospitals and reputed medical colleges. A huge percentage of students get placements.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't opted for any internship. I would do my internship after two years. I would be eager to take all the tasks, surgeries, minor operations, consultations, and further diagnosis of patients that visit our OPD.
