Well most of the students after completing graduation, prefer to study post-graduation for which they start preparation for NEET PG. Some of the students prefer completing their '1-year bond' and some of them opt to do MOship.

The course is of four and a half years. After that, you have to be part of a compulsory internship of one year in which you get a stipend of Rs.18,000. After that, you graduate as an MBBS doctor. You have to then serve a bond of compulsory government service of one year. You can also further opt for p by clearing NEET-PG or other postgraduate entrance exams. In thfirst year of service, you get about Rs. 70k as a salary which keeps increasing.
