A college in middle of forest

What I Liked

The campus itself is calm and serene and cute
And the degree Yes obviously . It's life saving

What I didn’t like

It's the time duration everyday it's 9 to 5
And ppt mode of teaching and long hours of teaching

Placement Experience:

Nothing as such . We get to do an year of internship for 30000 per month. We have to work in different hospital near chamarajaNagar and around . We get to work under postgraduate students and yes the opportunity is good

Remarks:

Nothing as such it was based on my neet marks and neet rank. The review was good on websites like shiksha and others so I opted this college . The campus was tood good here that is the main reason I opted

CIMS College - A college that keeps getting better!

What I Liked

The college was started in 2016, so the college is quite new and well maintained. It's always clean and neat. The campus is surrounded by greenery.
The campus is in a secluded area and provides a peaceful place for studies.

What I didn’t like

The campus is small. The sports facilities is not so good. The auditorium is small and right in front of the library which makes it too hard to study when there are programs going on. There are issues with power and water. There are very few stores near the college.
The campus life is quite boring. There are not much places to visit as well.

Placement Experience:

The students start internships after 4 years of college. The internship takes place in the CIMS hospital itself and also for OBG, and pediatrics they have to go to the old hospital in the city. The patient load is quite good as it is the only hospital in the district with various facilities. The students get a stipend of 30,000. I plan on completing my internship and rural service and then preparing for my post-graduation.

Remarks:

My college is quite close to my house. I can stay in the hostel if I want to, or stay at home and attend college. This college is situated in a secluded area which makes it a good place for study. I took the NEET exam for my admission and was allotted a seat via KEA. My rank was around 26,000. The admission procedure was quite simple. Via KEA you apply. Go to the college website and get the forms filled along with the bonds.

Good college

What I Liked

Campus life is also ok. But in the first year there will be many restriction. The campus is actually well planned. Many playgrounds are there throughout the whole campus. College fests of every year.
the quality of teaching is very good. Teachers use to teach using ppts and they update it daily for the students. The overall academic results of the college is also good.

What I didn’t like

College is bit far from city, we can't reach bus stand early. No proper canteens, cafe facilities not here
No proper stationary shops available. Have to go 6km for shopping

Placement Experience:

College infrastructure is well-equipped . And all necessary infrastructure and facilities are available in the departments and library . There is wifi in the hostels and ethernet connection in the labs .

Remarks:

I got seat in this college after clearing NEET exam by securing 605 marks out of 720. I attended councelling in state quota through KEA. This college is nice. College environment is too good and cool atmosphere. But it is bit residential, so there are no proper canteens, stationary shops

College worth considering.

What I Liked

The buildings are new with 450 bedded hospital nearby.
Faculties are well versed in their respective field.

What I didn’t like

Rooms in the centre part of hostel lack good network
No good cafes , places to hang out nearby

Placement Experience:

Most of them pursue MD / MS after graduation. Compulsory internship with monthly stipend around 30k . Competitive exams or direct appointment can also be other options. Internship has to done in various PHCs nearby.

Remarks:

Neet exam should be cleared with a good rank to get a seat here. Demand for this college is increasing every year as it is near to Mysore , Mandya, Bangalore. Weather is comparatively on the hotter side. Seat councelling is either through KEA or all India quota.

CIMS medical college

What I Liked

The campus is situated among hills which give a good scenic view
The infrastructure is also very good and very well maintained

What I didn’t like

The college is a little far from main town so it becomes little hard for travel

Placement Experience:

The internship program is there and everyone will go for pg after mbbs usually so it again depends on the neet pg Also, we can work with mbbs degree itself but that is my personal opinion. Many students also opt to go abroad

Remarks:

This college is a Government Medical College situated in Karnataka. It is about 2 hours from Mysore and 3.5 hours from Bangalore. The connectivity is mainly by bus. There are many buses throughout the day to go to Mysore and Bangalore. About the college It is a good college which is rapidly becoming better. The infrastructure is really good. This college is around 4 km from the main town but there are shared autos and government buses. There is a teaching hospital right next to the college. It has good patient inflow. The main thing for students is adequate patients to learn the different aspects of health...and there are many patients here. Coming to the hostel facility...There is a hostel within the college campus. It is a 3 sharing room with an attached washroom (which I found to be a huge plus point)there is also one table per student and an almirah in each room. The rooms are pretty spacious for 3 people.
