- The college was started in 2016, so the college is quite new and well maintained. It's always clean and neat. The campus is surrounded by greenery.
- The campus is in a secluded area and provides a peaceful place for studies.
Dislikes
- The campus is small. The sports facilities is not so good. The auditorium is small and right in front of the library which makes it too hard to study when there are programs going on. There are issues with power and water. There are very few stores near the college.
- The campus life is quite boring. There are not much places to visit as well.
Remarks :
My college is quite close to my house. I can stay in the hostel if I want to, or stay at home and attend college. This college is situated in a secluded area which makes it a good place for study. I took the NEET exam for my admission and was allotted a seat via KEA. My rank was around 26,000. The admission procedure was quite simple. Via KEA you apply. Go to the college website and get the forms filled along with the bonds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS is the dream of my parents. This college provides a better faculty compared to most colleges. We have regular classes. And the faculty is approachable. The teaching is fine. Internal assessments are conducted every 3 months. The difficulty level varies in different assessments. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes difficult. The questions are always asked from previous papers and cover questions from question banks. There are MCQ-based questions as well. The variation in fees is about 5k after 5 years. It's reasonable as it's a Government college. There are many government scholarships that students can apply for. Also, there are many other scholarships for students with reservations. Reservation students also get free books provided by the government.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently a first-year student. Every student after passing their final year does an internship in the college hospital itself. The stipend provided currently is 30,000 which will increase in the later years.
Placement Experience :
The students start internships after 4 years of college. The internship takes place in the CIMS hospital itself and also for OBG, and pediatrics they have to go to the old hospital in the city. The patient load is quite good as it is the only hospital in the district with various facilities. The students get a stipend of 30,000. I plan on completing my internship and rural service and then preparing for my post-graduation.
Campus Life :
The college fest AIKYAM is being conducted in 2024. It's a month-long fest with various sports and cultural activities. Every student is allowed to participate as the selection is based on the screening process. Athletics takes place in the district grounds which is a 2 day competition. Then there are other festivities for which competitions are conducted. Concerts will be conducted this year for the first time! The library is air-conditioned in the reading section. The reading consists of many standard books that can be referred to. The classrooms have projectors and boards as well. The teaching is mainly by ppt. Sports and extracurricular activities are taken very seriously and with complete enthusiasm in this college. The food is okayish compared to many hostels. The hostel fee is 3,600 per month. There is a curfew for the girl students and is strictly followed by the students. There are many pages available in the town which is around 10-15 mins away from the college by vehicle

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
