- The college is a little far from main town so it becomes little hard for travel
Remarks :
This college is a Government Medical College situated in Karnataka. It is about 2 hours from Mysore and 3.5 hours from Bangalore. The connectivity is mainly by bus. There are many buses throughout the day to go to Mysore and Bangalore. About the college It is a good college which is rapidly becoming better. The infrastructure is really good. This college is around 4 km from the main town but there are shared autos and government buses. There is a teaching hospital right next to the college. It has good patient inflow. The main thing for students is adequate patients to learn the different aspects of health...and there are many patients here. Coming to the hostel facility...There is a hostel within the college campus. It is a 3 sharing room with an attached washroom (which I found to be a huge plus point)there is also one table per student and an almirah in each room. The rooms are pretty spacious for 3 people.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The normal prescribed RGUHS fees are taken along with the hostel mess and other minor fees. No books are provided. We should only buy textbooks. SSP scholarships are available and other advantages the government provides are also available here
Internships Opportunities :
No. I have not applied for any internships as I am not aware of any such programs. We can participate in the quiz, fests, and other inter-college competitions which give a good experience to the students
Placement Experience :
The internship program is there and everyone will go for pg after mbbs usually so it again depends on the neet pg Also, we can work with mbbs degree itself but that is my personal opinion. Many students also opt to go abroad
Campus Life :
There are few hotels around the area. Zomato is available and all the major e-commerce is delivered here in a few days. Also, you can go to the town to buy other items There are some eateries and a bakery right next to the college. There are some fruit vendors also

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
