Great college with boring campus life

What I Liked

There is no rush of students like other private university so environment is good
Faculty is great they behave very well with students and corporate

What I didn’t like

There is no campus life for students there nothing to chill there is only just college
There is no sports competition or fest organised

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement is no back log in any subject or cgpa above 6.0 There are many companies that visit like TCS Infosys and lot more and that made a average package of 4-5 lpa percentage of students getting placed is very low

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't opted for any internship because I pursing 2nd year after completing my 2 nd year I will try to opted or internship but I don't think that I will get internship from this college because as I mentioned that placement record is not so good

College review

What I Liked

Firstly college is a govt college , the student have not to pay high fees, college have decent building, teachers are very cooperative, the local peoples are very good ,
Campus Life is good , student in hostel live friendly and helpful each other in every situation, clg have an decent market where u can get everything , college is on gt road and have also railway station

What I didn’t like

College do not have to many branches , roll is low
Boys hostel do not have good building it is too old

Placement Experience:

Should not have any backlog, Mainly companies come from mostly Chandigarh with 8 LPA. This year it is very low, last year it was above 50%. Searching for a job, I am also preparing for the government exam let's see.

Internships Opportunities:

I did my internship from LinkedIn in my first year in Python language, I also did an e-project, 2nd year I did my internship from LinkedIn in Java and made an image encryption project. In my third year, I did web development from LinkedIn and made an online book store project. Last year I did my internship in Python on LinkedIn and made a project on the student management system.

Honest review about my college

What I Liked

What i like about college is the faculty and fees faculty is supportive no doubt and the teachers themselves try to provide different programs and course updates themselves
Fees is really important factor from a middle class family my jee rank just pays me off

What I didn’t like

I dislike the hostel food and the hygiene ...it is not at all hygienic the bathrooms are very dirty even there is a caretaker who is least responsible and just like to interfere with works of students and give speeches ...not responsible
The other things is size of college is not that big it's just a 4 building and one main ground in center so there is no place to chill or go somewhere

Placement Experience:

As our college has not that much placement opportunities companies do come but they pick students in mass and provide low packages some senior have got high package by applying outside so placement and package are just ok not really active the tpo is not that supportive

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted any internship i had training which was done in panchkula where I learn web development using laravel I made a form using php and html CSS js basically it was my first project in 2 year and it was good

Pls not take admission if you don't have any kind of majburi

What I Liked

I like in this is it's near to my home and it's easier to come college
Girls hostel is newly made and had a good infrastructure

What I didn’t like

Campus building is very old and parking problem
Boys hostel is very old and it can be down any time only god knows

Placement Experience:

Only bad company visit this college and select only 1-3 students on an average package of 2 LPA and we all know how good it is suggestions me kindly not be admission in this college even teachers bunk in this college

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for the internship at Thai college because of the very low package and the company which visited has a very low market face value and they also not agree to give you an experience certificate

What I Liked

This college is overall good. Infrastructure is good. Faculty is good and i like to live the hostel life.
Faculty is good and i like to live the hostel life.

What I didn’t like

Boys hostel is right now not good to be take now.
Girls hostel is overall okay. Hostel have one hostel care taker which is not good.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is trying to contact with more companies to come in the campus and select the more students. 30% of student getting placement through the campus. There is no backlog in previous semester for taking placement from the college.

Internships Opportunities:

There is lots of sales companies are coming in this college. These sales companies gives you less salary and take work more. Eleation company is now coming in this college which for civil engineering students and the company giving package is 4.5LPA.

Decent college, Decent Infrastructure, Decent Crowd

What I Liked

The college and the amenities it provides are affordable.
The diversity of the crowd in the college is refreshing.

What I didn’t like

There is no exclusive boundary separation on campus and therefore eve-teasing is very common.
There are no places nearby to explore to explore in college life

Placement Experience:

The college placements aren't great, but computer science does better than other branches. Previous batches in computer science got around 3-4 lakhs on average. This year, most companies were in sales. In December, companies like Prodigy Infotech, Codestire, Planet Spark, 75-way technologies, and Cloud Analogy made offers to 2 -3 students each, with packages near 3 lakhs but tied to a 2-year bond. Breaking it means fines from 50,000 to 3,00,000 rupees. I'm focusing on improving my full-stack development skills for off-campus placements.

Internships Opportunities:

My Internship at Prodigy Infotech was unpaid, lacking a stipend. I worked as a front-end developer, tasked with creating personal and product landing pages. Unfortunately, internship opportunities at the college are scarce, with many companies offering training instead. Notably, IBM visited but only provided training, charging 4000 rupees per head. Their persistent efforts to persuade students of training's benefits seemed more focused on extracting money than genuine student development.

SIET is great

Placement Experience:

Past placement records of the campus was quite good which is about average of 8-9 lpa which i thisnk quite decent for anyone. But during this time recession no of companies approaching towards for placement drives is low as per previous records. But TPO cell and students giving their complete efforts to bring more on the table.
