GACC Indore Courses and Fees

More than 67 courses are available at GACC Indore across the UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D and diploma levels. Every programme is affiliated with DAVV, Indore. As a government college, GACC follows regulated and subsidised fee rates.

MA Yoga and PGDCA are among the college's popular applied courses. MBA students may specialise in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources or Information Technology. Each MBA specialisation carries the same full programme fee of INR 83,142 for 2 years.

GACC Indore Admission Process

The Higher Education Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh manages the centralised admission process followed by GACC Indore. Students seeking admission to UG and most PG courses must use the MP e-Pravesh portal. Most programmes do not have a separate college-level application form.

UG Admissions for BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BSW and BJ

• Eligibility: Applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. B.Sc requires science subjects, while students from any stream may apply for BA, B.Com, BBA and BSW.
• Selection: Seats are assigned only according to Class 12 board marks, and applicants do not take a separate entrance test.
• Application steps: Create an account on MP e-Pravesh, enter college and course choices, and wait for merit-based allotment through the available rounds. After receiving a seat, report to GACC with the original documents.
• Cutoff context: Competition for UG seats is high because GACC is a government college in Indore. In recent admission cycles, Class 12 cutoffs for General category BA and B.Com seats have varied from 70% to 85% by subject. Computer Applications options have generally required higher marks.

PG Admissions for MA, M.Com, MSW and Master of Journalism

• Eligibility: A graduation degree in the relevant subject or an equivalent qualification is required, with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50%.
• Selection: Graduation marks determine admission through the MP e-Pravesh system, without an entrance examination.
• Application steps: Students follow the same online registration and allotment system used for UG courses. DAVV-level inter-college merit lists distribute PG seats.

MBA Admission

• Eligibility: Applicants need a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50%. The minimum is 45% for SC, ST and OBC applicants.
• Entrance requirement: A valid CMAT or MP-MAT result is compulsory.
• Application steps: MBA seats are filled through Madhya Pradesh-level counselling managed through DAVV or the Higher Education Department. After score-based shortlisting, the college may hold a group discussion and personal interview.

PGDCA and PG Diploma Admission

PGDCA selection is based on merit and does not require an entrance examination. Applications for PGDCA and the PG Diploma in Yogic Science are processed with the regular PG admission rounds through e-Pravesh.

M.Phil and Ph.D Admission

Applicants to M.Phil and Ph.D courses take the DAVV Research Entrance Test and then attend an interview conducted by the relevant department. A postgraduate degree in the appropriate field with at least 55% is required. Research programmes are offered in Economics, Commerce, English, Hindi, Sociology, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology and Sanskrit.

GACC Indore Placements and Career Outcomes

The Training and Placement Cell at GACC Indore arranges recruitment drives and industry interaction programmes. It also helps students prepare through mock interviews, group discussions and resume-building workshops. Most campus placement activity serves BBA and MBA students.

After arts and commerce degrees, many students continue to MA, M.Com or MBA programmes. Other common paths include MPPSC, MPSC, Bank PO and SSC CGL examinations, along with private-sector work in Indore. State scholarship applications go through the MP Scholarship Portal. The central NSP and PM-Yashasvi schemes use their respective portals. Deadlines are generally declared at the beginning of the academic year in July. Students should arrange their income and caste certificates before the session begins to prevent application delays.

GACC Indore Campus and Infrastructure

GACC Indore serves students from the city and nearby districts through an urban campus containing more than 16 academic departments. Academic facilities include a central library with a broad collection, separate computer laboratories, a language laboratory and a seminar hall for workshops and invited lectures. GACC does not manage a hostel within its campus. Students instead use private hostels or paying-guest accommodation in nearby Indore localities. The city's large student population supports a broad range of lower-cost accommodation choices.

Holkar Science College has a stronger focus on pure sciences and holds the higher NAAC grade. Prestige Institute places greater emphasis on management education, campus recruitment facilities and access to placement drives, with the higher charges associated with a private institution.
