The College Provides the following Scholarships to the students\r\n\r\n

The Academic Scholarships consist of:\r\n\r\n

1. Need-Based Scholarships\r\n\r\n

    Students from diverse backgrounds are provided the opportunity to gain an education at Ahmedabad University through Need-Based Scholarships\r\n\r\n

2. Ahmedabad Fellowships\r\n\r\n

     The Fellowship will provide a 100 per cent waiver of the tuition fees and will be renewed annually for four\/ five years for the Bachelor \/ Integrated Masters Programmes.\r\n\r\n

3. Ahmedabad Scholarships\r\n\r\n

     A one-time 100 per cent tuition fee waiver for the second semester will be provided as  Ahmedabad Scholarships, at the time of admission to the Bachelors and Integrated Masters Programmes. \r\n\r\n

4. Merit Scholarships\r\n\r\n

    Merit Scholarships are awarded from the second year onwards to the highest-scoring students of each Programme based on their academic performance at the University. \r\n\r\n

5. Mahatma Gandhi Scholars Programme\r\n\r\n

       The Mahatma Gandhi Scholars Programme seeks to bring to Ahmedabad University some of the brightest and most talented students across the country. The Scholarship will provide a full tuition fee waiver, and room and board for students from outside Ahmedabad, for the entire duration of the Bachelor or Integrated Masters Programme.\r\n\r\n

6. The Daksha Niranjan Shah Scholarship\r\n\r\n

    The Daksha Niranjan Shah Scholarship seeks to support a female student, preferably the first learner in the family, for her undergraduate education at Ahmedabad University. \r\n\r\n

PG Scholarship \r\n\r\n

Master of Arts in Economics \r\n\r\n

\r\n\t
• All students will receive tuition support of INR 75,000 per year.\r\n\t
• Students needing additional financial assistance can opt for a Fellowship, under which they are required to undertake a Teaching Assistantship under a faculty member assisting them in teaching. For students choosing the Fellowship option, the tuition support would increase to INR 1.25 lakh per year, thus reducing their tuition fees by 50% to INR 1.25 lakh per year.\r\n\r\n\r\n

  Doctor of Philosophy\r\n\r\n

  The University awards full tuition fee waivers and financial support to full-time doctoral students. The University also encourages Indian and foreign students to apply for funding from external sources The financial support could be either University Assistantship or University Fellowship, or from external sources. We offer University Assistantships at INR 40,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver, and University Fellowships at INR 50,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver.","author":"890","updated_date_time":"2024-03-12 18:08:16","created_date_time":"2024-03-12 17:56:52"}
