GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC NAGPUR - YES OR NO?

What I Liked

the college campus is very beautiful, and it has a stadium seating
the clubs here are very good, and are great at giving real life exposure

What I didn’t like

the campus faculty is not always present when you need them. Mostly faculty's aren't available

Placement Experience:

Not much campus placement are offered, since it is only a diploma we're getting, the average stipend per month is usually between 10,000 - 20,000. Some of the companies were Mahindra and Mahindra Co, TATA, etc.

Internships Opportunities:

yes, I did an internship for 6 months at SIEMENS CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, in VNIT Nagpur. I wasn't provided with a stipend, but I had a good experience. My subject was 'INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION 4.0'. I had a project on Grafana, and data transfer on it.

Life of a Diploma Student

What I Liked

I like the hostel Life in the college which gave the opportunity to grow.
I also liked the friends I made there as that was a good social life start.

What I didn’t like

I hate the infrastructure and faculties being bias towards the students.
I also hate the labs as they didn't had latest PCs to work on.

Placement Experience:

Yeah, I can get a job on my own but I got 2 offers from college. College brings many companies and also provides work-from-home or office work options. The average package was about 1 LPA. I got internship offers. Some of the companies are 'Widesoftech', 'base', etc.

Internships Opportunities:

I got two internship offers from Datastack and ibase Electrosoft DataStack gave 3LPA offer but I had to work offline in Pune So I chose the free internship by Ibase Electrosoft LLP'. I was an Android Application Developer there also worked on Java, Python, and ML.

Review about Government Polytechnic Nagpur

What I Liked

I like the campus life of the college there are no load of assignments and all and there are many events which are organised in the college.
The facilities of the college are very good they have experience of the industry also which helps them to teach us properly according to industry standards.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of the college is not very good as the college was built many years ago now it needs some work to get renovated.
In the placement there are very few companies which come for campus placement it is the second issue.

Placement Experience:

There is a dedicated placement cell in the college. Some companies come to the college to provide internships. As in this college, we get a diploma and not a degree so there are fewer companies which come to the college some of them are Dhoot Transmission Ltd and the other is Datastack, RB tech and services and many more were also there. The eligibility for the companies is the student should not have any backlogs or bad character.

Internships Opportunities:

There are various internship opportunities in the college companies come and provide students with internships such as Dhoot Transmission Ltd which offers a stipend of 12,000 and many more where so the internships are very good for this college.
