Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training Admission

 Applicants for the B.Tech program have to submit their applications between July and August. The IMU-CET exam is required for admission. For further application to the course, candidates must fulfill all the required eligibility as mentioned.

Application procedure:

  • Firstly, Visit the official website of HIMT and Click on Apply now.
  • Once you have signed up and registered, fill out the personal details form. Save and click the next button.
  • Enter the qualifications and other details.
  • The candidate can then select the mode of payment, either Online or Offline.
  • In the case of online, the applicant can select the bank and they will be redirected to the details of that particular bank.
  • If the applicant wishes to pay in offline mode, they can pay by Demand Draft.
  • Lastly, to complete the application process, candidates need to pay Rs 1000.

Eligibility criteria:

  • For B.Tech Marine, the candidate must be an intermediate graduate with a minimum of 60% and 50% for the English Language.
  • Passing 10+2 is mandatory for all the courses in HIMT.

HIMT offers various scholarships for different courses with different criteria. HIMT rewards students scholarships to all talented and deserving students.

  • Candidates of B.Tech and B.Sc with more than 90% in PCM or who have ranked in the top 500 positions in IMU-CET are eligible for the scholarship worth INR 50000.
  • B.Tech and B.Sc students who are ranked between 501-3000 and scored above 75% in PCM are eligible for the scholarship worth INR 25000
  • Students that scored above 90% in B.Tech or B.E get INR 25000 worth of scholarships in GME course
  • Scholarship worth INR 25000 is given to the students who scored above 90% in the 10th standard.
