By this course that is Btech in Marine Engineering one can sail as an engineering on board ship with a comparatively good salary. The faculties are really good and most of them are experienced in this field that is they have sailed many years in their life as a marine engineering. The teaching method is normal as every good colleges do but the practical teaching regarding this field is excellent. They teaches is about various machines that are used on board ship and how to operate it. There are 2 internal exam conducted between in each semester and 1 main exam conducted at the end of the semester and the difficulty is normal.

I choose this course to pursue my career as a deck officer and finally to be a Captain. The qualification of the faculty is that all the teachers are retired Captains themselves who have quit sailing after years of experience. The exams were more than average difficult here and rules were very very strict here for the conduct of exams (no cheating was allowed).

My opinion regarding the course curriculum and everything is like I am in this comp persons passed one and half year and what all have observed as that the academic cells well structured difficulties are very cooperative the curriculum is just what we want and which actually help us to think and like think and go out of the box to for research work and something like that to you know get into some invention or something.

TMI consists of highly experienced faculties , some of them are even captain, chief officer, chief engineer on the ship. They provide brief knowledge about their experience onboard. Faculties are quite interactive.

I chose this course as it is a one year course and after clearing this course in first attempt I will be able to board the ship and start earning as a deck cadet. Most of the faculty here are Captain which teaches us and also share their life experiences on ship. Exams will be very easy if you study.

The course curriculum is very well designed keeping all the setback faced by the cadets in mind. Tolani Maritime Institute has a strict residential course so the cadets relate better to the life they are going to be living on a ship. I personally found this course very interesting and drew quite liking to it. I believed that this course would help me bring the best in me and it actually has helped me grow. The credit goes to the faculty who were chief engineers, and are related to the industry. They helped us gain the knowledge needed in the best ways possible. There were timely exams and test conducted. Others than the main class test 1 conducted in September and class test 2 conducted in November regular test by teachers were conducted in respective classes difficulty level being quite good which helped us improve a lot and prepared us for the End Semester exams

A lot of the faculties have been seafarers who are now teaching, they give you a realistic point of view about what happens onboard, and some of them are really friendly. They are super professional and quite experienced in whatever they teach about
