IMU Mumbai previously known as The Training Ship Chanakya was established in 2017 as the first pre-sea training institution in India. It is an affiliating University with its headquarters in Chennai and 6 other regional campuses. IMU Mumbai courses include B.Sc. (Nautical Sciences), a One-year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS), Advance Fire Fighting Course, and GMDSS course.
