We don't need to do any internships the company gives us 1 year onboard training and stipend also after placement. Basically the companies give placement to the cadets based on their semester scores and interview performance and it takes care of the training of 12 or 18 months on board the ship and also provide monthly stipend.
However almost all the cadets got placed by the end of their 6th semester, but if you still didn't get placement from the campus you can also get off campus placement also and the captains of our campus helps to get that.

Our Campus life is amazing with full of greenery all around and we have all kinds of facilities inside the campus including playground, swimming pool, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis etc. All of our classroom are equipped with projectors and cctv cameras . All kinds of books related to maritime study are available in our library which is full air conditioned.
This is a residential course and there is no option to do the course without opting a hostel. The most Wonderful thing about this campus is the mess food. The quality and taste of the food is amazing. As the number of students are very less in this campus the work load on the mess staff and cooks are also low for this reason they are able to give us such quality of food
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
