Remarks :
To get admission to this college you'll have to go through a test called IMUCET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test), get a good rank in Imucet and go for the counseling process choose IMU Navi Mumbai.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The total fee for BSc (nautical science ) is 825000 including all charges like uniform expenses, laundry, hostel fee, mess charge etc. Most of the facilities are Captain itself so they give us a better explanation about the industry related subject and teaches us good or bad aspects of the industry.
Placement Experience :
It's the first shore-based Maritime academy in India. Being the oldest college in the industry mostly all higher officials are Chanak passouts. It's very reputed and known for its strong alumni base and placement record.
Campus Life :
Since it's a fully residential programme and the college is known for its strict rules and hard training you don't expect cultural activities like other colleges despite that the college arranges some fest like expression an annual fest, sports activities like top match and cpl. The college has different clubs such as debate club, literary club, environmental club, sports club etc.

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
