This is the best government college for bsc nautical science.written test is there for admission which is called IMUCET . Imucet rank decides the admission in college.cut-off is different for different caste.for general you need to be in whithin 2500-3000, for obc within 6000-7000, for ews category it is nearly same as obc and in some case can go upto 7500, for sc/st it can go upto 10000-12000 depending upon the number of cadets. There are branches of indian maritime University you can get other branches as well that solely depends upon your rank .you can fill preference at time of registration, there is 2-3 list come For IMUCET you get college according to your rank and preferences 2-3 main list come and then there is further list only if seats are vacant. just study 11 and 12 syllabus everything will be from 11-12th. no extra coaching or anything required for clearing this exam.
