- Academic area is small. This is a dissapointment.
- No happening events here, life is gonna be really strict and the wardens are not gonna be your friends as they say initially so good luck!
Remarks :
There were 3 rounds, the first criteria being you have to have a minimum of 65%+ in ur 12th board's PCM aggregate. On filling the form, there will be an entrance exam(TMISAT). After this you will have a psychometric and behavioral test on the same day.( Details will be shared by the college ), Now comes the main round ie. The personal interview. Also for this, you have to appear for a govt entrance exam- IMUCET(COMPULSORY), after this the final candidates will receive an email from the institute to issue a medical certificate from a dgs approved doctor. Course Curriculum Overview :
A lot of the faculties have been seafarers who are now teaching, they give you a realistic point of view about what happens onboard, and some of them are really friendly. They are super professional and quite experienced in whatever they teach about
Internships Opportunities :
You dont have to do any internships here, just read and enjoy your life at TMI. However some companies provide you the facility to go onboard in ur 8th sem. Yes. You heard it right. However that again depends if the company you get placed in has that facility or not
Placement Experience :
Placement is 90-95%, even if you are a below average student, you are gonna get placed by the end of the course. The final year placement last year was 100%. Placement will not be an issue here at all. Just read and give your level best
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The semester fees is around 2.8lakhs and it varies each sem. The round academic fees for 4 years will be around 25lakhs including hostel, laundry, mess and course fees. There are facilities for taking loans also.
Campus Life :
Life is tough at tmi. The schedule for the day is rigorous. You wake up at 6am for morning exercise. 6am. Not even 6:00:01. After which there are classes starting from 0830-1640 hours, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break. There are many clubs like cookery, piclub, vibgyor, drama
Hostel Facilities :
Its a residential college, food in the mess is a lot better than other places, trust me, the food provided cannot be a dissapointment. There is chicken and paneer every day for vegan and non vegans. Breakfast is again pretty good. I repeat, the food is impressive!

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
