I chose this college because this is the best maritime education college in the country. It has great placements into great international companies and the education quality is also great. As a result I got placed in my second year only in a great company
The faculty in the college that teaches us are very good and well experienced. Most of the faculties are retired seafarers with vast knowledge and experience. The mid term exams are held twice a year in June and December
The placement companies come to the college and short list the deserving candidates. A test is taken followed by an interview and then cadets wait for the result which is usually out in under a month.
The placement and job opportunities and great as the college is one of the best merchant navy colleges in the country. Many students got placed in their first year only which is commendable. I myself got placed in a great shipping company recently.
Total fee- 24 lakhs Divided into 4 years 6 lakhs each year that is 3 lakh per semester The payment can be done online or offline. The fee is divided into subparts- Mess charges Hostel charges Tuition charges Other charges like courses
Life at campus is great. The hostels are in good condition and surprisingly the quality of mess food is far more than what is expected in a hostel mess. We have many clubs in the college for various extra curricular activities
The hostel mess and infrastructure is really good. The mess food is healthy and palatable. Though on some days of the week it’s not quite tasty but most of the days. It is good. The hostel mess makes food according to the menu on all days of the week
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
