When I checked the academic brochure of Indian Maritime University for the year I was admitted i.e. 2019, this college was in the A grade with IMU affiliation. Later when I checked their website, I liked the infrastructure and facilities inside the campus. The placement record was also very good that year and some of my friends also confirmed that it was a good institute for maritime training.

HIMT is one of the best maritime institutes in India having an A1 Outstanding Grade from DG Shipping. It is affiliated with Indian Maritime University. He has a handsome placement rate with 100% placement opportunities. It is located in Kalpakkam which is around 60km from Chennai city. The admission process includes securing 60% PCM in 12th grade which enables one to attend the IMUCET examination. Qualifying in IMUCET is mandatory to get admission into college. IMU CET examination is based on a 12th-grade syllabus including Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English. It also includes Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. For the same study materials will be available on the internet including sample question papers.

Bsc nautical science is also known as a bachelor of science in nautical engineering it includes practical seamanship.it is a 3-year course. Bsc nautical salary is about 500000 to 800000 per year. the salary will increase according to our ranks.
