I choose this college because this is one of top research college in country and this college is government funded autonomous college so we have to give IAT exam to take admission in this college and cutoff is different for different categories reservations is same as national reservation rule I did my preparation for this exam from YouTube

The admission process of the IISER Tirupati or any IISER is through IAT (IISER ADMISSION TEST). It includes the syllabus of class 11th and 12th (Physics, chemistry, biology and math's). The cutoff varies every year depending on the seats and number of students applying. Preparation: Lots of questions practice of JEE Mains level and biology of NEET level. Also solve previous year question papers of IAT. The exam is not too difficult, but yes experiment based questions are asked. I choose this college because of my interest in the research field and one major reason was subjects choice. The curriculum is vast and better subjects are there with experienced research experiences.

First thing is that IISER TIRUPATI is a newly constructed college with all world class technology and everything is new. Second thing, the course structure is also very new and professors are here with a very good research knowledge and their works define them. As college is new, everything is best and the campus is developed and completely shifted from Transit to permanent campus. As this college is 31km from Tirupati city, basic things are available but surroundings are not developed. IIT TIRUPATI is 5km from IISER.

To get selected for IISER, one has to clear the IAT exam which is the IISER Aptitude Test. The eligibility of the exam is that you have to be a fresher dropper or double dropper only. The exam fee is 1000Rs for everyone and the syllabus is Physics chemistry biology and Maths. The exam included theoretical and experimental questions. Each year cutoff changes and it depends on the number of students appearing for the exam. So the question is why do I choose to study at IISER Tirupati? Why not another IISER? And the most important why IISER only? So the reason is I want to pursue biology research. It was my dream to become a biological scientist. IISER has everything that a research student needs on the path to being a scientist. I chose IISER Tirupati because of the professors and it's a new college with lots of different minds. In every aspect the college is good but as a new college, it lacks a few things like not a lot of different subjects and some restrictions on ur college life.

IISER Tirupati is one of the seven IISERs established in India. It provides a good research experience for their students throughout their course. I came to IISER via IISER APTITUDE TEST (IAT) Which is a common entrance exam for all the 7 IISERs and IISc Bangalore.
