These exams are conducted at the national and state levels for admission to various engineering courses offered by engineering institutions in the country. Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) is conducted by NTA at the national level for students seeking admission to various engineering courses in IITs, NITs, and other institutions in the country. The JEE Main 2024 examination was conducted on 4 April to 12 April 2024 for which the result was also declared. Students are offered seats based on the JAC Counselling Process 2024. The board has declared its round 1 seat allotment list on 27 June 2024.
Joint Entrance Exam Advanced (JEE Advanced) is conducted by NTA for students seeking admission to engineering courses at 7 coordinated IITs. Students are also offered integrated master's and dual degree courses based on the JEE Advanced. IITs accepting JEE Advanced scores include IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Kharagpur. On 26 May 2024, students appeared in the JEE Advanced examination. Moreover, the concerned authority has also declared the JEE Advanced results 2024. Students who qualified for the JEE Advanced entrance test were called for the JoSAA counseling 2024. JoSAA declared the round 2 seat allotment list on the official website on 27 June 2024. Students are required to pay the seat acceptance fees before completing other admission formalities.
Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MUOET) is an engineering entrance test conducted by Manipal University to offer admission to the BE/B.Tech courses at the university. The entrance test is conducted online based on the syllabus prescribed for subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Students appeared in the entrance test in two phases. Phase 1 of the MUOET was conducted on 16-17 April 2024 and phase 2 was conducted on 18 & 19 April 2024.
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) is a computer-based online entrance test conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to its first-degree (FD) courses. The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) is conducted in 2 sessions and this year, session 1 was conducted on 21-26 May 2024, and session 2 was scheduled to be conducted on 22-26 June 2024.
Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) is conducted every year by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission to its B.Tech courses. The institute conducts the entrance test in 2 phases and this year, phase 1 of the entrance test was conducted on 19-22 January 2024. However, phase 2 of the entrance test was conducted on 2-12 May 2024. Students have also received the results of their performance in AEEE 2024. The result of the AEEE 2024 Phase 1 was declared on 14 February 2024 and Phase 2 was on 25 May 2024.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted every year by IISc and IITs for admission to various PG-level engineering courses. This year, GATE was conducted by IISc Bangalore on 3, 4, 10, & 11 February 2024. The GATE 2024 result was also declared on 16 March 2024. Students who qualify for the GATE must register themselves for CCMT. The round 2 seat allotment list has been released on 24 June 2024 on the official website of CCMT.
West Bengal Joint Engineering Exam (WBJEE) is conducted every year by the WBJEEB board to offer admission to B.Tech and integrated courses. This year, WBJEE was conducted on 18 April 2024. On 6 June 2024, the WBJEE board announced the result of the entrance test. Qualified candidates must register for and participate in the counseling process to secure a seat in the participating institutes. Institutes accepting WBJEE scores include Seacom Skill University, Techno India University, Jadavpur University, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology Kolkata, etc.
