What’s New in BITSAT 2026?
BITSAT 2027 registration dates have not been announced. Based on the 2026 schedule, the application form is likely to open in December 2026, Session 1 is likely in April 2027 and Session 2 is likely in May 2027.
BITS Pilani conducts the computer-based test for admission to first-degree programmes at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. A candidate may take one or both sessions, and the higher score is used for admission when both sessions are taken.

BITSAT 2027 Exam Dates
The 2027 schedule is not out yet. The tentative dates below follow the 2026 admission cycle and will change if BITS Pilani issues a different calendar.

BITSAT 2027 Application Form
The application form is expected on the official admission website. One form covers Session 1 and Session 2. Candidates can select one session at first and pay the extra fee later if the second-session window opens.
The form asks for personal details, Class 12 subjects, test-session choice, centre preferences, photograph and signature. The submitted name, date of birth and academic details should match the school records because these details are used again during admission.

BITSAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
The 2027 eligibility rules are awaited. In 2026, B.E. and M.Sc. applicants needed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12, with at least 75% in PCM together and 60% in each subject. B.Pharm and the permitted biology-based programmes accepted PCB under the stated conditions.
Students who first appeared for Class 12 in the admission year or passed in the previous year could apply in 2026. Students already studying at a BITS campus could not take BITSAT for another first-degree admission.
Admission and exam eligibilityMeeting the Class 12 marks rule does not guarantee a seat. Admission also depends on the BITSAT score, programme preference and final cutoff.
BITSAT 2027 Exam Pattern
The 2027 paper pattern has not been released. The 2026 test had 130 multiple-choice questions for 390 marks and a three-hour time limit. There was no separate time limit for a subject.

Candidates who answered all 130 questions could choose 12 extra questions. Once the extra-question section opened, they could not return to the first 130 questions.
BITSAT 2027 Syllabus
The 2027 syllabus is awaited. The 2026 syllabus covered Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. The topic list was based mainly on Class 11 and Class 12 concepts, with English and reasoning tested separately.

BITSAT 2027 Result
The test centre shows the number of correct and wrong answers after the candidate submits the paper. BITS Pilani later issues a moderated score report. When a candidate takes both sessions, the higher score is used for the admission merit list.
The result page explains the score report and tie-breaking rules. The admission form with Class 12 marks and programme preferences is a separate step after the test application.
BITSAT 2027 Cutoff
The 2027 cutoff will be available after seat allotment. The final 2026–27 cutoff for B.E. Computer Science was 308 at Pilani, 274 at Goa and 272 at Hyderabad, out of 390.
Cutoffs differ by campus and programme. They can also change between years because the number of seats, candidates, scores and programme choices change.

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India conducts admission processes for undergraduate programs based on merit and entrance exams.
For undergraduate programs, candidates must submit the scores of the last qualifying exams from their previous education. The selection process may also include a Common Entrance Test (CET) or Merit Basis in the 10+2 examination or equivalent.
