What's New In BITSAT 2026?
BITS Pilani will release results for BITSAT 2026 for session 1 and session 2 separately.
- BITSAT 2026 raw score will be released shortly after the exam is over while the results with detailed scorecard are expected to be announced between 5 June to 10 June, 2026 for session 1 and between 27 June to 30 June, 2026 for session 2.
- Best of out of both the session’s scores will be taken for candidates who will appear for BITSAT session 1 and session 2.
- The preference form window for filling programme preferences and uploading academic details will be opened soon after session 1 concludes, i.e. from April 17 to June 1, 2026.
- Around 1.7 lakh canidates registered for BITSAT 2025 session 1 with total figure being around 3 lakhs for both the sessions, whereas, BITSAT 2024 saw 1.36 lakh candidates appearing with a acceptanace rate of around 2%, this shows the increasingly competetive nature of the exam.

Ques: Is the BITSAT result declared immediately?
Ans: No. The BITSAT results aren’t declared immediately after the exam. Instead, candidates are shown with their raw scores on the computer display after they finish their exam and press the submit button. The detailed scorecard for the exam is usually released within 1-2 months after the exam.
How to Check BITSAT 2026 Scorecard (Step-by-Step)
Candidates can download their scorecard for BITSAT 2026 when the results are declared. Candidates can follow the below step-wise guide to download their BITSAT scorecard:
- Step 1: Visit the official website @admissions.bits-pilani.ac.
- Step 2: Click on the “BITSAT 2026 Result” or “Scorecard” link
- Step 3: Enter your Application Number and Password
- Step 4: Click Submit / Login
- Step 5: Your result with a scorecard will appear on your screen.
- Step 6: Download the scorecard PDF for future reference.
BITSAT Result 2026: Merit list, Cutoff, Tie Breaker Rules
Candidates can apply for counselling through preference filling soon after session 1 exam, from April 17, 2026.
- Merit list is prepared on the basis of BITSAT score.
- Separate merit lists for each campus and programme are released
- Merit list will be released along with Iteration-I results (15 June 2026).
- BITSAT tie-breakers are resolved through merit based policy, giving preference to candidates with higher marks in individual subjects in BITSAT and Class 12.

BITSAT Result 2026: Counselling and Seat Allocation
After a candidate appears for BITSAT 2026 session 1, they can register for the counselling session.
- Candidates can fill the Preference Form from 17 April to 1 June, 2026, including candidates whose 12th results aren’t announced yet.
- Candidates will have to upload their Class 12th marks and programme preference during this phase.
- Based on previous year data, BITSAT 2026 is expected to have 5-7 iterations or rounds of seat allocation.
- First merit list (Iteration 1) will be released on 15 June, 2026 and candidates have to decide and confirm their admission by 22 June, 2026.
- Subsequent rounds will be held after iteration 1 if seats are left across the three BITS campuses of Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa.

Will BITSAT Cutoff Decrease in 2026?
According to the Benzene Guy on YouTube, BITSAT 2026 cutoff are expected to increase compared to last year’s lower cutoff due to the following reasons:
- Since BITSAT is scheduled to be conducted earlier this year(April compared to May last year), the BITSAT counselling and JOSAA counselling are expected to happen within the same time.
- This will give students limited options to choose either NIT/IIT or BITS and this can lead to an increase in cutoff.
- He also cites another reason for higher cutoff: expected increase in the number of applicants for BITSAT 2026.
- According to the general trend in 2024 and 2025, the video also predicts expected cutoffs for CSE as given below:

Ans. According to the BITSAT 2025 cutoff, scoring 217 marks is considered below-average and may get admission in B.Pharm and B.E specializations like Civil, Chemical, Manufacturing, etc across the BITS campuses. However, popular specializations such as Computer Science and ECE may require higher cutoffs ranging between 290 to 320 marks.

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India conducts admission processes for undergraduate programs based on merit and entrance exams.
