What's New In BITSAT 2026?
BITSAT 2026 session 1 applications are over and BITSAT Admit Cards will be released from 10 April, 2026. Choosing the BITSAT 2026 exam centre early is an important step in order to secure your choice of centre.
- While the BITSAT session 1 exam is scheduled from April 15 to April 16, 2026, test city allotment will be done on 28 March, 2026.
- BITSAT is a Computer-Based Test and you must appear at online centres at designated exam cities on a scheduled date and time.
- You have the option to select three preferences of the BITSAT 2026 exam centre while filling up the BITSAT 2026 Application Form.
- There will be 69 Indian centres and 2 international centres such as Dubai and Kathmandu.
- You will be able to select your preferred slot for your allotted exam centre from March 29 to March 31, 2026.

- You may select your preferred BITSAT 2026 exam centres, but the final allotment is made by BITS Pilani. In case of any technical or logistical issues, the institute can change your exam centre or any extra exam centre if required.

Ques: I have chosen the wrong exam centre in my application, How can I change it?
Ans: Candidates can change their BITSAT exam centres while the edit window is open. As session 1 edit window has passed, you can’t change the exam centre for BITSAT 2026 session 1. However, session 2 edit will be opened after session 2 registration is over and you will be able to change your test city for session 2.
Ques: What is the exam date for BITSAT-2026?
Ans: BITSAT 2026 will be conducted in two sessions across various BITSAT exam centres. Session 1 will be held from April 15 to April 16, 2026 and session 2 will be held from May 24 to May 26, 2026.
How to Check The Test City for BITSAT 2026?
Candidates can check their BITSAT test or exam centre after the test city is allocated.
- The test city allotment for BITSAT 2026 session 1 will be done on 28 March, 2026 while for session 2, test city allotment will be done on 12 May, 2026.
- The test city allotment is followed by test date and slot booking.

How BITSAT Exam Centres are Allotted?
The test centres for the BITSAT exam are allotted based on first come first serve basis.
- Candidates choosing Indian centres are asked for three preferences while those filling Nepal as centre are given two more Indian centres.
- BITS tries to give candidates a test centre as their 1st preference but if the preferred centre gets full, candidates may be allotted their 2nd or 3rd preference city.
- According to the official BITSAT 2026 brochure, the final list of test centres in India and the operating days at each centre in India and Dubai will depend on the number of applicants and their preferences.
