APPGCET and AU Admission Forms

The form depends on the admission stage. APPGCET registration covers the entrance examination; counselling registration and the AU self-support form cover admission after the result.

Andhra University programmes outside the listed APPGCET courses can have different application routes, including specialised and engineering admissions.

APPGCET 2026 Application Dates

The revised APPGCET 2026 application schedule was:

The entrance-registration and correction windows are closed. Existing applicants can still use the portal's payment-status and application-print services.

The late-fee period was determined by final submission. A candidate who paid before the no-late-fee deadline but submitted during a later window had to pay that window's additional charge.

Degree Eligibility and Test Codes

APPGCET eligibility depends on the qualifying degree and its subjects. These are examples from the Andhra University course list:

Final-year students could apply for the entrance test. They must pass the qualifying degree and produce the required records for admission.

Professional-degree eligibility varies by university and course. For example, AU's M.A. English entry requires a non-professional degree with English in Part I or II. Professional-degree exceptions offered by another university apply only to that institution.

There is no general APPGCET age limit for PG admission. Fee reimbursement and other financial-assistance schemes have separate conditions.

How the APPGCET Online Application Is Completed

1. Match your intended course to the degree-subject eligibility and entrance test code.
2. Enter the primary registration details and the number of tests.
3. Pay the appropriate registration fee through the authorised payment gateway.
4. Preserve the registration ID and use the registered mobile number and date of birth to complete the form.
5. Upload the photograph, signature and applicable certificates, then preview every entry.
6. Submit within the applicable fee window and save the completed application printout.

The test code identifies the entrance paper; the course code identifies the programme. For example, 101 is the English test and PG001 is M.A. English. College and course preferences are submitted during the admission process.

After final submission, download the application printout. It contains the entered details and registration reference needed for application enquiries.

Application Fee and Multiple-Test Cost

Two-test fees are twice the category's per-test fee. Any applicable late charge is additional. Each selected test must correspond to a course for which your degree qualifies.

The AU self-support form had a separate ₹1,000 processing charge. Neither entrance registration nor self-support processing covers tuition.

If payment is debited but not reflected in the form, use the portal's payment-status service and retain the transaction reference for the helpdesk.

Documents and Details for the Entrance Form

Upload the evidence for any caste, EWS, income or disability claim made in the application. The relevant original certificates are needed at admission verification.

Final-year applicants must provide the degree pass and marks records at the admission stage. Photograph and signature files must meet the specifications displayed in the APPGCET form.

Application Correction and Submission Problems

The APPGCET 2026 correction date was 10 April. For a payment or application problem after that window, contact the helpdesk with your registration ID and the affected field or transaction.

AU Self-Support PG Application: September 2026 Notice

The AU self-support application deadline was 3 October 2026 at 5 pm. Completed forms had to reach the Directorate of Admissions, Vijayanagar Palace, Pedawaltair, Visakhapatnam, in person or by post. Counselling was scheduled for 5 October at 11 am.

Applicants needed an APPGCET 2026 rank. Candidates already admitted through APPGCET 2026 admissions were excluded.

The ₹1,000 demand draft must name the Registrar, A.U. Common Entrance Test & Admissions Account as specified in the notice. The entrance test's online fee payment is separate.

The deadline applied to receipt at the office, not the postal dispatch date.

Hall Ticket and Admission Documents

Entrance applicants receive a hall ticket for their selected paper. After the test, the relevant rank card is used for counselling.

For the AU self-support counselling, the required records include the APPGCET hall ticket and rank card, degree/provisional certificate, marks statement, transfer and conduct certificates, SSC/date-of-birth evidence, four photographs and a migration certificate where applicable. Bring the originals and one set of attested copies.

The self-support notice allows no extra time to produce certificates or pay the prescribed fee after allotment. It also excludes scholarships and makes hostel accommodation subject to availability.

Andhra University handles this campus self-support process separately from the regular APPGCET counselling application.
