Ques: How long is the GPAT score valid for?
Ans: Your GPAT score will be valid for three years. If you sit for GPAT 2024 then your GPAT scorecard for 2024-2025 session will be valid for three more years.
Ques: How can I avail a GPAT scholarship?
Ans: You will need a valid GPAT scorecard to be eligible for GPAT scholarship. You need a B. Pharm degree, be an Indian National, and be enrolled as first year students for M.Pharm in a recognised University. The GPAT scholarship is valid for 12 months or for the entire duration of the course. If you qualify GPAT after your M. Pharm admission then you are not eligible for the scholarship. GPAT monthly stipend amounts to INR 12400.
Ques: Is NIPERJEE and GPAT same?
Ans: NIPERJEE and GPAT are different examinations. NIPERJEE stands for National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam and GPAT stands for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. While GPAT scorecard is valid for 3 years, NIPERJEE scorecard is valid only for 1 year.
Ques: Is GPAT conducted twice a year like JEE?
Ans: GPAT is conducted only once a year. Although, GPAT follows the marking pattern of JEE Mains, it is not conducted twice a year like JEE. GPAT exam is conducted for admission to M.Pharma or equivalent courses.
Ques: Can I attempt GPAT in my final year of B. Pharma?
Ans: You can attempt GPAT in your final year of B. Pharma. Since, GPAt scorecard is valid for three years, you can apply for GPAT counselling to various participating institutions after completing your B. Pharma degree.
Ques: What is the GPAT cutoff for NIPER?
Ans: NIPER will not release a GPAT cutoff. Instead, you will have to qualify GPAT to be eligible for NIPERJEE. Then upon clearing NIPERJEE, you will be eligible for admission to any of the NIPER institutes.
