Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is a premier university in central India. It is earlier known as the University of Indore. Later, it was renamed to honour Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. The University is 55-year-old established in 1964. It is NAAC A+’ accredited.

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has three campuses, each in Avanti Parisar and Nalanda Parisar, Takshila Parisar. The university got the 151st rank in India by NIRF.  The university has developed conventional schools of Studies in Physics, Chemistry, Statistics and Mathematics since 1964. Also, it is among the first few institutions to begin B.Ed. and MBA degree programmes. In recent times, it opened the schools of Economics, Journalism, Biochemistry and Life Sciences. The university also has medical and dental institutes. Its research wing majorly focuses on Chemistry, Life Sciences, Economics and Physics. Admissions to the college are done online and are given by entrance and counselling.

It has a huge campus. There is a school, a sports academy called Pioneer Cricket Academy and a badminton academy on-campus. It also has a canteen. The campus is also very near to Bombay hospital.
