ICSE Class 10 Syllabus 2027: Subject Groups and Official PDFs

CISCE has released the ICSE Class 10 syllabus for 2027. It covers the compulsory Group I subjects, Group II choices such as Mathematics and Science, and Group III application, practical and vocational subjects.
The syllabus is issued by subject, so students should use the PDF that matches the subject and examination year shown by their school.
ICSE 2027 Syllabus Status

ICSE 2027 Core Subject Syllabus
English
English Language covers composition, letter writing, notice and email writing, comprehension and grammar. Literature in English covers the prescribed drama, short stories and poems. For Class 10 in 2027, the prescribed drama portion is Julius Caesar, Acts III, IV and V, along with the Class 10 stories and poems from Treasure Chest.
Mathematics
The Class 10 Mathematics course includes commercial mathematics, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, statistics and probability. The official syllabus also gives the project-work areas and the paper structure.
Science
Science is one subject with three papers: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each paper has its own detailed units and practical or project work. The syllabus should be read paper by paper because the question papers are separate.
History, Civics and Geography
History and Civics form Paper 1. Geography is Paper 2 and includes map work. The internal assessment is based on the work given in the subject syllabus.
ICSE 2027 Elective Subjects
Group II includes choices such as Economics and Commercial Studies. Group III includes application and practical subjects such as Computer Applications, Economic Applications, Art, Physical Education, Home Science and Mass Media and Communication. Section B includes vocational subjects such as Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and Basic Data Entry Operator.
