ISC Class 12 Syllabus 2027: Subject-wise Topics and Official PDFs

CISCE has released the ISC Class 12 syllabus for 2027. The official page has separate PDFs for English, Indian and foreign languages, Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Humanities, practical subjects and vocational choices.
Students should use the PDF for their exact subject and the 2027 examination year. Class XI and Class XII have separate topic lists inside many subject documents.
ISC 2027 Syllabus Status
The complete subject list is on the official ISC 2027 syllabus page. CISCE also provides the examination regulations and prescribed-text list. Schools may teach only the subjects for which they have proper arrangements.
ISC 2027 English Syllabus
The official English syllabus covers English Language and Literature in English. Language work includes composition, directed writing, proposal writing, grammar and comprehension. Directed writing may ask for formats such as a feature article, book review, blog, newspaper report or statement of purpose.
For Literature in English, the Class XII reading includes Acts III to V of Pygmalion and the Class XII selections from the prescribed short-story and poetry collections. The English internal assessment covers listening, speaking and writing.
Science, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics

Commerce Subjects
Accounts covers company accounts, partnership accounts, cash-flow work and other prescribed units. Commerce explains business environment, management, finance, marketing and related ideas. Economics covers microeconomics, macroeconomics and Indian economic issues under the official units. Business Studies has its own management and business sections.
Humanities, Languages and Other Subjects
History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Legal Studies, Mass Media and Communication, Hospitality Management, Art and language subjects each have a separate syllabus. The subject PDF also tells students which map, field, practical, project or portfolio work is required.
Project and Practical Work
Project and practical work is part of the final subject score. The school follows the tasks and marking rules given in the subject syllabus. A student who chooses a subject with theory and practical parts must complete both parts.
