ISC Class 12 Books 2027: Prescribed English and Subject Books

CISCE has published the prescribed-text list for ISC Class 12 in 2027. The fixed book list mainly matters for Literature in English, Elective English and language subjects. Science, Mathematics, Commerce and Humanities students should follow the books named by their school along with the official syllabus.
A guidebook does not replace the prescribed text or the CISCE syllabus. The examination questions follow the official course, not a publisher's summary.

Students should use the edition named by CISCE because the selection and page arrangement can differ between publishers. The paper tests the prescribed portion, not the full collection unless the syllabus says so.
ISC 2027 Elective English Books
Elective English has choices from the approved list. The 2027 documents include novel, drama, short-story and poetry options. Schools select the texts they will teach, so a student should not buy every title in the appendix.
