ISC Class 12 Registration 2027: School Entry, Eligibility and Subjects

ISC Class 12 examination entries are completed by schools. There is no public student application form. The school enters each eligible Class XII student on the CISCE system and confirms the chosen subjects.
Students need to check their name, date of birth, subjects and other details with the school. CISCE has not published a public 2027 fee for individual students.
ISC 2027 Examination Entry Status
The ISC 2027 regulations set the rules for school candidates. Any date for data correction, subject confirmation or fee payment is shared with schools through CISCE. Students should use the deadline given by their school.
Who Enters a Student for ISC?
The CISCE-affiliated school enters the student. A first-time candidate cannot apply as a private candidate. A student coming from another recognised board may be admitted to Class XI on a temporary basis while the school sends the earlier marks document to CISCE for a decision.

ISC 2027 Eligibility for Examination Entry
- The candidate studies the two-year Class XI and XII course at a CISCE-affiliated school.
- The candidate was eligible for admission to Class XI after ICSE or another recognised equivalent examination.
- English or Modern English and four or five elective subjects are registered.
- The attendance and school course requirements are met.
- Practical papers are completed where the chosen subject has theory and practical parts.
ISC Subject Choice and Changes
Students choose English or Modern English and four or five electives. A Class XII subject must have been studied in Class XI. CISCE does not allow subject changes after 15 September of the Class XI registration year.
The school also checks combinations. English cannot be taken with Modern English. Mathematics cannot be taken with Applied Mathematics. Robotics cannot be taken with Artificial Intelligence. A school can enter a student only for subjects it teaches.
Attendance for ISC 2027
The normal requirement is 75% of working days in both Class XI and Class XII. Attendance is counted up to 31 January in each year. When there is a genuine shortage, the school, not the student directly, sends the request and supporting details to CISCE.
