The TANCET cut-off will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education after the completion of the counselling process in May 2025. The TANCET Cut-off mark is the minimum score to secure admission into the MBA/MCA programs in Top Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

According to the previous year's cut-off analysis, the expected cut-off for TANCET 2025 can range the following:

  • For top Government Universities like Anna University, PSG College of Technology, CEG, SSN, and LIBA candidates need a score of 55+ for MBA, while for MCA a score of 50-60 is required.
  • For admissions to Mid-tier colleges like Rajalakshmi Engineering College, SRM, etc. MBA aspirants need a score of 40-55 marks, while MCA candidates need 35-50 marks.
  • Private institutes such as VIT Business School, and Hindustan Institute have lower cut-offs. Candidates can get admission in MBA with 35-40 marks while, for MCA students 25-40 marks are enough to secure a seat.

  • For Top-Tier Colleges like Anna University, PSG, SSN, Thiagarajar, etc. a candidate needs to score between 58 to 65 marks.
