Which Application Do You Need for TISS?

The TISS Mumbai course profile covers the institute and its programmes. Match the full programme name when choosing a form: Hospital Administration and Public Health are different programmes, while an MA and an executive diploma with similar names can have different entry conditions.

What about CUET PG and other TISS programmes?

TISS used CUET PG for many master's programmes in 2026 and ran a separate Non-CUET process for specified vacant seats. These are not interchangeable with the CAT route. A vacancy-round entrance test does not establish the admission route for every programme in the following year.

For a programme outside the four listed above, look for its name, campus, eligibility and test-paper code in the relevant admission list. Do not choose a CUET paper merely because its subject sounds similar to the degree. The CUET PG 2026 question-paper collection is useful for practice once the correct paper has been identified.

TISS Registration Dates: Previous Admission Cycle

These dates belong to 2026 admission, not the 2027 application schedule. They show why completing only the entrance-exam form can leave a TISS application unfinished.

The CAT route opened before the CUET-based TISS form in that cycle. There was no single registration deadline covering every master's programme. Reopening and correction were also separate events: a correction window should not be treated as permission to start a fresh application.

How to Apply for TISS Admission

1. Choose the exact degree and campus. Check whether the programme is under CAT, CUET PG or another specifically notified process.
2. Complete the required entrance registration. Keep the exam application number, registered contact details and confirmation page. An entrance registration alone is not a TISS admission application.
3. Open the TISS form for that admission cycle. Start from the PG admissions announcement. Confirm the year and route before creating an account or making a payment.
4. Enter your academic and category details. Use your certificates for names, marks, degree status and reservation claims. Add work-experience evidence when the programme requires it.
5. Select the permitted programme choices and submit. Check the selected campus, entrance details and uploaded files before paying the applicable TISS fee. Save the submitted application and payment acknowledgement.
6. Follow the next stage for your route. A shortlist may require a Detailed Application Form and assessment. A selection offer has its own acceptance, document-verification and fee deadlines.

Application, DAF and admission confirmation are different forms

The initial application asks TISS to consider you for admission. A Detailed Application Form (DAF) belongs to a later shortlist stage where required. Admission confirmation comes after selection. Entering details on one of these later portals cannot replace the initial application.

The 2026–27 admission-confirmation portal asks shortlisted candidates to use the registered email and select the programme for which admission is confirmed. Its instructions are not an invitation for new applicants to register for 2027.

Eligibility Checks Before Filling the Form

An eligible entrance-test score does not remove a programme's academic or work-experience requirements. TISS's published criteria distinguish these conditions:

Keep the entrance-test eligibility and the TISS programme eligibility as two checks. A work-experience condition for ODCL, for example, should not be copied onto HRM & LR simply because both use CAT.

TISS Application Fees

The CAT-PG selection page lists the fees below. The 2027–28 announcement does not separately confirm a new application-fee schedule.

This is not the CAT examination fee or a universal fee for every TISS programme. Keep the entrance-payment receipt and the TISS application receipt separately. Tuition and admission-confirmation payments belong to another stage.

Documents and Details to Keep Ready

Prepare the records that support the details you will enter. The upload fields depend on the programme and application stage.

For employment claims, keep appointment, experience and relieving documents together so the dates can be reconciled. Do not describe an internship as post-graduation full-time employment unless the programme's rule accepts it.

Form Correction and Application Problems

A mistake in the entrance form and a mistake in the TISS form belong to different application systems. Correcting one does not automatically change the other. In 2026, TISS notified separate correction periods for CAT-based and CUET-based applications.

If a payment is deducted but the form is still incomplete, retain the transaction reference and the application-status screen. For a name, category or programme-choice issue, describe the exact field and the application number when contacting TISS admissions. Do not send passwords or OTPs.

TISS lists 022-25525252 and admissionsinfo@tiss.ac.in for PG admission queries. A saved draft, payment debit or email account by itself is not proof of final submission; keep the submitted form and acknowledgement together.
